A composer, harper and singer-songwriter, Patrice Haan is sought after as a harmonist, songsmithing coach and interpreter of her own songs or others' creations. Her music has been described as “spellbinding”. The former director of the nonprofit Healing Muses, that provides music for healing for more than 20 years, Patrice has played harp for cancer patients in local hospitals and cancer care facilities. She is devoted to the healing presence of listening. Her latest album “Secret Poems” released in 2024 is a collection of original tunes and meditations for solo harp. With Healing Muses she has recorded “Solace of Sound” (2019). “A Garden of Healing (2020) includes two of her original tunes. "Gorgeous, poetic and evocative, the poetry of her music heals our souls and our heartache." Patrice Haan has an ear for melody, a heart for feelings and a gift for lyrics. She combines it all into beautiful music, whether singing and playing her own songs or interpreting others' creations”. For further information: www.PatriceHaan.com.
Steve Baughman is one of the most respected Celtic-based guitarists active today. A master of arranging traditional tunes for solo guitar, he is also an ace accompanist and a composer of unusual depth. Having adapted “clawhammer” banjo technique and various alternate tunings to the guitar, Baughman has one of the most recognizable sounds on the scene, making him an in-demand performer and instructor (he is also the author of several guitar method books). Steve has taught at more than 80 camps across the US, Canada, and Europe. He is always available to sit under a tree and give students individual attention they need. His “pandemic project“ was to arrange, master, and then record a CD of the music, all on one guitar. The result is his latest album: Once Upon a Harp which Acoustic Guitar magazine calls “a glorious and thoroughly satisfying collection.” “Baughman’s playing has the perfect combination of a light touch, rhythmic surety, and the deeply melodic sensibility necessary to deliver these instrumentals beautifully and with spirit.” For further information: www.celticguitar.com
