Oliver Mesmer graduated in 2023 from Yale Divinity School with a Masters of Divinity and also received a diploma signifying readiness for ministry from Andover Newton Seminary at Yale. He is a member in discernment in the United Church of Christ, and has a breadth of experience working in multi-cultural and inter-religious spaces. Oliver has also spent time living and working in a variety of intentional spiritual communities. Oliver is passionate about cultivating contemplative spiritual communities through deep listening, spiritual practices, embodied movement, and social justice engagement. Oliver is a proud Eagle Scout and Former Jesuit Volunteer. Oliver attended the 2023 conference of the International Thomas Merton Society as a a 'Daggy Scholar,' awarded to young seekers and outstanding and emerging scholars.
