Shrove Tuesday
Join us for a
Community Pancake Supper
Tuesday, March 4th
5PM
Come celebrate Shrove Tuesday with us at St. Columba’s Inverness with a warm and welcoming Community Pancake Supper! Rooted in the rich traditions of Celtic Christianity, this festive gathering is a time for joy, connection, and delicious food before the season of Lent begins.
Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day, has long been a day of feasting, laughter, and even a bit of friendly competition—did you know that pancake races are a beloved tradition in the UK? While we may not be flipping pancakes down the streets, we’ll be flipping plenty onto plates!
Join us for a fun and family-friendly evening filled with fellowship, tradition, and, of course, plenty of pancakes. Whether you prefer yours with lemon and sugar or dripping with syrup, there’s a seat at the table for you.
All are welcome—bring your friends and neighbors! Come hungry, leave joyful, and step into Lent with a heart full of community and tradition.
